Akro-Mils Heavy-Duty Steel Frame Workbench

Akro-Mils Heavy-Duty Steel Frame Workbench

Constructed out of heavy-duty gauge 11 steel for its frame, the Akro-Mils Heavy-Duty Steel Frame Workbench can easily carry a load of up to 3,000 pounds. The two shelves are only slightly thinner at gauge 12.

This Akro-Mils workbench is huge. It has a six-foot wide worktop that is made of hardwood. It extends by 1.5 inches on the front and sides to enable it to accommodate clamps or any other attachment. A steel back wraps around the rear and about a third of the sides of the work surface to prevent your tools or hardware from falling off.

Below the hardwood work surface are two shelves. The upper one is slanted where small bins or containers of hardware materials and small tools can be stowed. The slanting orientation is designed for easy access. The lower shelf can hold your bulkier tools in bigger containers.

As if the Akro-Mils Heavy-Duty Steel Frame Workbench is not sturdy enough, its feet incorporate anchor pads. These allow the workbench to be bolted to the floor for an even more solid installation.

All steel components of the workbench are powder coated with a blue finish. The coating is electrostatically applied and heat treated to provide superior protection from rust. The coat also provides an attractive sheen to the workbench.

The workbench stands 48 inches and is 30 inches deep. It weighs 355 pounds.
