Workbench needs and requirements differ from almost every craftsman. A jeweler’s work table would naturally have a very different construction from that of a woodworker or an auto mechanic. For this reason, BenchPro offers a series of bare workbenches consisting only of a table but to which you can add almost any option you want. The series are named after American leaders, most of them U.S. Presidents.
One of these is the Kennedy Series. The table is of regular design with the legs in the four corners that are braced on both sides with a rod connecting them. You can have either a 24″ x 48″ work surface or the larger 30″ x 60″. Table tops can be Formica, Cleanroom, ESD, wood, steel, butcher block, or chemical-resistant laminates. Except for the last, which is available only in black, white, and gray, you can have the work tops in white, black, desert beige, gray, and oak.
Below the workbench top, a single or a set of drawers of varying width and depth can be installed. If you need to work with a computer, you can also have a CPU holder on the other side of the workbench. The rod connecting the leg braces is capable of supporting a shelf where you can store your bulky items. If you do not need the shelf, you can opt for a footrest.
A power strip can be installed on the work surface to power up your electric tools. These come in various sizes and number of power outlets. An upright set with a capacity of 500 pounds can also be installed at the rear end of the work surface to support additional options, such as an adjustable rail for bin boxes, an additional shelf, roll holders, light bracket, and even a cabinet with either sliding or hinged doors, or with drawers.
There are plenty of other options available for the Kennedy Series. With BenchPro you can design you own workbench and install only those that suit your specific needs.
