Constructed out of gauge 14 – 18 thick steel, the Craftline HD Cart Model PLC303 is a robust and sturdy storage facility. The cart is protected from rust and corrosion by a glossy black powder enamel that is electrostatically coated to the steel and heat-treated. With this procedure, the coating becomes like a second skin to the steel.
The top of the cart can be flipped like a tool chest lid. It opens to a till that can accommodate long tools and equipment like your crowbar, wood saw, socket wrenches with their extenders, and perhaps pipe wrenches. A locking mechanism is provided to safeguard your tools.
Underneath the till are two drawers of equal width, while a third that runs the full width of the cart follows further below. You can store your small tools such as your wrenches, pairs of pliers, screwdrivers of all types, hammers, and chisels in these drawers.
All three are fitted with heavy-duty ball bearing slides for ease of opening or closing even when they are loaded down. These slides have a capacity of 100 pounds. The drawers are opened with aluminum pullers that also serve as contrasting highlights to an otherwise all black cart. Identification strips are provided where you can list the contents of the drawers. Drawer liners keep the tools stored from moving around. These can also be locked for security.
Below the drawers is a large open shelf where bulky items like power tools or cans of oil and bottles of waxes and cleaning materials can be stowed. To keep these from falling off, a vertical sheet of metal surrounds the shelf’s surface.
Four ball casters with a load capacity of 200 pounds each carry the cart effortlessly around your garage or to where ever you need your tools. On the left side of the cart is a towel rack-style handle that helps in steering.
