Certain types of work are better done sitting down, like when your work involves fine tuning of small and delicate materials that could take a long time. Others require the application of brute force which can be better delivered on foot. It is for this reason that the Edsal Deluxe Premier Adjustable Leg Work Benches were crafted.
The legs of this Edsal Work Bench adjust from 30 to 34 inches in one-inch increments enabling you to work either sitting down or standing up. Both the legs and the frame are constructed out of heavy gauge 14 steel providing them with the strength to support a weight of up to a staggering 5,000 pounds. Reinforcing the legs are five braces, two at each end and one at the back. In order to cope with uneven floor surfaces, the work benches are equipped with leg levelers. And to keep them corrosion-free and durable, they are powder coated either with a blue or beige finish.
For the work bench top, you have a choice of butcher block maple, steel, wood, or plastic. There are also three different sizes –72″ W x 30″ D, 72″ W x 36″ D, and 60″ W x 30″ D. For all these variations, the work top is provided with back and end stops, thus preventing your things from falling.
There are storage areas both above and below the work top. The raised shelves with backstops are suited for arranging your small hand tools or other materials. Below the work top is a drawer that is fitted with a lock where you can keep valuable items. Even lower is a wide shelf where bigger and bulkier materials such as power tools and portable tool boxes can be put in order.
