Standing at 64 inches with a width of 47.5 inches and depth of 23.5 inches, the Garage Fabricators Standard Diamond Plate-Enclosed Shelved Cabinet is a large cabinet that can accommodate plenty of the things you don’t want lying inside the house. Your holiday décors, boxes of mementoes, old clothes waiting to be given away to your favorite charity, the kids’ toys and sports gear can all be stowed neatly away in this cabinet.
It has three large shelves that are made of steel mesh framed in sturdy steel bars. This allows the circulation of air inside even when the doors are shut resulting in a moisture-free and fresh-smelling storage cabinet without damp surfaces or musty-smelling odors. The two upper shelves can be adjusted up to 2.25 inches in height. As an additional option, you can add more shelves or install dividers. You can even remove the shelves if you need to stow tall items.
The cabinet is enclosed with sheets of diamond plate steel that are framed with metal bars. These are powder-coated with enamel and heat-treated thus providing them with excellent protection from rust or corrosion. The diamond plate is always in silver but the frames and the shelves can be in seven different colors –red wagon, pumpkin orange, wrinkle black, evergreen, blue streak, almost black chrome, and gold vein.
For ease of moving this large cabinet, four 6-inch phenolic casters are welded to its base. Each has a theoretical load capacity of 1,500 lbs resulting in a total of 6,000 lbs for the cabinet. In practice, however, this may be lower and may depend on the distribution of the load.
