This allows small hand tools such as pairs of pliers, screwdrivers, and wrenches to be kept in the top five; while bigger hand tools as hammers, pipe wrenches, and mallets can be stored in the bottom drawer.
All drawers are equipped with ball-bearing slides which make opening and closing convenient. Inside are cushioned liners that protect the drawers and keep stored tools from moving as the drawers are opened and closed. The drawers, however, cannot be pulled out unless the lid is first opened. A locking mechanism further secures them.
The till is 2.75 inches tall and is provided with partitions at its front section intended to hold small items such as a pencil, screws, washers, or nuts and bolts. The sides of the cabinet have handles for carrying. When doing so, a friction-catch keeps the drawers from opening.
