Both the silver finish of the tread plate and the hammered granite of the body are electrostatically bonded and baked in a powder coating process that shields the bare metal from rust or corrosion.
The doors are closed with a powerful magnetic door latch. As it does not have any moving part, it can be expected to last virtually forever. A lock that is opened and closed with a round key is installed on the left door ensuring the security of stored material and keeping toxic chemicals and potentially dangerous tools out of children’s reach. A pair of large sleek door handles opens the doors. These are integrated into the doors with a minimum of protrusion from the surface.
Within the cabinet are two full-width shelves that can be adjusted to six different positions providing you with flexible storage options. The cabinet bottom serves as a third shelf. Each of these has a rated load capacity of 50 pounds.
Installation of the Gladiator Garageworks Premier Wall Gearbox GAWG302DRG is easy with the use of Gladiator’s GearWall Panels or GearTrack Channels. The hanger bracket included with the cabinet fits perfectly with these mounts. In case you choose not to use these mounting systems, the cabinet can be mounted with ordinary wall studs.
