Constructed out of heavy-duty steel that is powder coated, the wall-mounted Gladiator GearLoft Shelf GAWA45SFTG is strong, durable, and nice-looking.
It has a width of 45 inches and a depth of 20 inches providing 6.25 square feet of storage area. The shelf’s frame is 1.625 inches thick while the shelf itself is made of a metal mesh patterned in a tight weave. Thus, while you can see through the shelf from the bottom if it is mounted high making it easy to identify stored things, the meshes are tight enough to hold small items.
The powder coat finish is colored hammered granite. It is electrostatically bonded and baked to the steel to provide a more effective barrier against rust and corrosion than conventional paint. This makes the steel surface smooth and sleek with no running or sagging.
The GearLoft Shelf is mounted on a wall with two right-angled triangular brackets. These can be installed either below or above the shelf. The brackets are attached to GearWall panels or GearTrack channels which, in turn, are mounted on the wall.
The shelf has a weight capacity of 100 lbs. You can use it to store cans of paint, wax, oil, or other cleaning materials. Bulky items such boxes of holiday decorations can also be loaded on the Gladiator GearLoft Shelf GAWA45SFTG.
