Featuring powder-coated tread plates for its drawer fronts and a hammered granite cabinet body, the Gladiator Premier Modular GearDrawer GAGD275DRG obviously belongs to the Gladiator GarageWorks family of storage products.
The GearDrawer is constructed of heavy-gauge steel components that are deep welded to assure structural stability and strength to support heavy loads. Indeed, the cabinet has a rated weight capacity of 1,400 pounds.
The cabinet has five drawers of different sizes. The top drawer is two inches tall, the next three measure three inches in height, while the bottom drawer is a deep nine inches. Small hand tools can be stored in the top drawer. You can keep your hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers in there. For your big power tools, such as power saws and nailers, the bottom drawer can be used. The three 4-inch drawers can take the bulk of your items. Drills, mallets, planers, and grinders will all fit into the middle drawers.
All five drawers are extendable up to 20 inches beyond the fronts of the drawers. As they glide on ball-bearing slides, opening even when loaded is a breeze. Tools are kept in place and prevented from bumping and scratching each other by cushioned drawer liners. These also keep the tools from damaging the drawers themselves. Recessed door handles not only open the drawers but also provide a trim on the cabinet front.
A heavy-gauge cushioned mat at the top of the cabinet allows its use as an additional work surface. Bumpers on its sides keep the cabinet from running into walls or other cabinets thus protecting it from scratches and dents.
Four casters sized 5″ x 2″ that are made of solid rubber provide mobility to the GearDrawer. The front wheels are fixed and are fitted with an easy-to-operate locking mechanism to keep the cabinet in place. The rear wheels, on the other hand, swivel to provide maneuverability when moving.
With dimensions of 34.5″ H x 28″ W x 25″ D, plenty of your tools can take up residence inside the Gladiator Premier Modular GearDrawer.
