At 60 inches wide and 24 deep, the Gorilla Rack GR2102B Workbench provides ample workspace. The worktop consists of a particle board that is sufficiently strong to support most work done in a home garage.
To the rear of the worktop is an upright pegboard that is framed in steel. Hooks or hangers can be installed on the pegboard which can be used to hold a good number of your small tools. With the steel frame as support, the board can take some weight. Hammers, hacksaws, screwdrivers, staplers, or spanners can be hung on the pegboard.
At the top of the pegboard is an open shelf that spans the width of the workbench for more storage. You can stow small bottles or canisters of oil, cleaning chemicals, waxes, or similar items on the shelf. A metal riser surrounds it so you won’t have to worry about the bottles falling off.
Below the worktop are two metal drawers positioned alongside each other. Each has a load capacity of 100 pounds. Heavier tools that cannot be hung on the pegboard can be stored in these drawers. Perhaps you can also keep some sketches or plans of projects you intend to work on in them.
Further below is another open shelf that is as large as the worktop. This is intended for your bulkier items such your power tools, portable toolbox, or large containers of paint or engine oil.
The frame and legs are constructed of gauge 14 and 16 steel guaranteeing a solid and strong base. These are powder coated in black which gives them a nice shine and more importantly, excellent protection against rust.
