Constructed out of heavy-gauge steel, the Jobox 678990 Super-Duty Rolling Work Bench is a strong and sturdy storage equipment for your power and hand tools. It is painted with a brown coat to protect the steel from rust and corrosion. Although called a workbench, it also provides a large space for storing your hand and power tools.
The top of the Jobox workbench is made of 12 gauge steel making it a firm and solid surface to work on. As if that is not enough, it is provided with reinforcements making it even stronger.
The workbench has two doors that cover its entire front. These are made of 16 gauge steel, and are hinged to the main body by 14 gauge 3/8-inch steel hinges. These are staked and welded for a solid and firm attachment. Behind each door are two shelves, complete with railings to keep items stored on them from falling. The shelves are 3 inches and can hold small cans and bottles.
Six drawers and one shelf are installed inside the workbench. These are made of 18 gauge steel and are strong enough to support weights of up to 125 pounds each. They run on heavy-duty ball bearing slides for ease of opening and closing even when they are fully loaded. Sizes of the drawers differ –three are 2½ inches deep, two are 4 inches, and one is 5½ inches. Your screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, hammers, saws, and other small hand tools can be kept in the shallower drawers, while nail guns and power drills can be accommodated in the 5½-inch drawer.
The Jobox 678990 Super-Duty Rolling Work Bench stands on four 6-inch casters that allow its easy movement from one work area to another. Two of the casters swivel for easy maneuvering while the other two are lockable to prevent it from rolling away while you are working.
