Constructed out of 304 stainless steel, the John Deere 26-Inch 8-Drawer Stainless Steel Tool Cabinet is naturally shiny, resistant to rust, corrosion, and stains, and is therefore easy to maintain.
The cabinet features eight drawers stacked in a single column. They are of varying heights which allows the storage of items of different sizes. All have a width of 23.5 inches and depth of 16.5 inches. The top two drawers are 2 inches high which are suited for small thin tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, vise grips, and wrenches. The next two are slightly taller at 3 inches where bulkier equipment, measuring tools, or perhaps bins containing nails, bolts, and screws can be kept. Next follow three 4-inch high drawers. Big pipe wrenches, mallets, and tool sets can probably stay here. The bottom drawer is seven inches tall, providing enough space of your power tools.
Full-width pullers made of aluminum assures not only convenient drawer opening but also provide an attractive highlight to the cabinet. Further facilitating drawer opening are the ball bearing drawer slides. The bigger drawers even have four slides, two on each side. These guarantee an extremely smooth glide even if they are filled up to their maximum load capacity of 100 pounds.
Although the drawers can be easily opened, a safety retention device is built into the cabinet to prevent them from unintentionally opening when it is moved around. Inside the drawers are non-skid mats which hold stored tools and equipment in place. They also protect the drawer from dents and scratches.
The cabinet body is constructed with double walls assuring rigidity and strength. It rolls on four 4″ x 2″ casters, two of which swivel for maneuverability. These two can also be locked to prevent the cabinet from rolling away.
Overall, the dimensions of the John Deere cabinet are 26.75″ W x 18.25″ D x 35″ H.
