Onrax offers its Enduro-Deck™ decking system that provides handsome racks with high load ratings. The box frame is constructed out of gauge 14 steel rails. For the 8-foot long models, the frame consists of C-channel rails. This provides rigidity that prevents deflection or twisting even under heavy loads. Also on 8-foot units, middle reinforcements are installed for stability.
The brackets that are attached to the ceiling are likewise of gauge 14 industrial grade steel. These are designed in a way that they can be attached on angled ceilings. Both the frame and the hanging brackets are powder coated for extra protection against rust and corrosion. You have a choice of either white or silver vein coating.
The wire deck is coated with rust-resistant zinc. Reinforcement struts that are spaced one foot apart at the bottom of the deck provide extra strength.
Access to stored items is maximized as the hanging brackets are installed only on the corners of the frame even in the 8-foot long models. If your ceiling is high enough, you can adjust the height of your rack up to 45 inches from the ceiling. This will allow you to store bulky items. If this is not possible, you can adjust to 18 inches. In any case, if you opt for the 8′ x 4′ feet model, your rack can carry a load of up to 800 pounds.
Onrax Overhead Storage System offers nine models of their overhead racks. Apart from the C-channel rails, middle reinforcement, and higher load for the bigger units, the only other variation is their size. The smallest is a 4′ x 2′ while the biggest is 8′ x 4′.
