Eight pull-out drawers and a till covered by a lid is often sufficient for the tools of an average do-it-yourselfer. This is exactly what the Remline XQL Tool Chest Model 12056 has to offer.
Finished in shiny bright red, the Remline tool chest will surely catch the eye of anybody walking into your garage. This color comes from an epoxy powder coat that, in addition to making the chest look good, provides excellent protection from rust or corrosion.
The tool chest is constructed with double walls of heavy-gauge steel for a robust and rigid structure that can support substantial loads. There are four large carrying handles on the cabinet, two on each side, which allows two persons to carry it in case it gets too heavy for one.
The top has a lid that is raised by two gas lifts when unlocked. This opens to a till that occupies the entire length and width of the chest, and is 2.40 inches deep. Below this are the eight drawers arranged in two columns of four drawers each. The drawers on the right side have widths of 34.38 inches while those on the left have 15.13 inches. The top two drawers on both right and left columns are 1.80 inches high. Those below them are higher at 4.40 inches. All have a depth of 21.88 inches.
All drawers run on heavy-duty ball bearing slides. Aluminum pullers running the width of the drawers not only help in opening but also provide trims to an otherwise all-red chest. Inside the drawers, liners are provided both to protect the chest from scratches and dents and to keep your stored tools from sliding inside the drawers. Tubular locks are included to secure your items.
Overall Dimensions of the Remline XQL Tool Chest Model 12056 are 19.13″ H x 55.63″ W x 23.88″ D.
