Supported by sturdy steel posts and beams, the Stack-On 318544 Steel Workbench with Pegboard Back Wall provides a stable and secure work area in your garage or workroom.
The posts of the workbench are crafted from square channel beams thus assuring you of extra load-bearing strength. On both sides, steel pegboards are included in between the posts for hanging of small tools. Steel horizontal beams welded atop the posts provide additional support to the worktop.
The worktop is made of a one-inch thick piece of wood that is fastened to the steel beams securely keeping it in place. Immediately below it is a steel drawer that runs on ball bearing slides for ease of opening or closing even when loaded. It does not run the entire width of the workbench, but it can be installed either on the left or right side.
Below the worktop are two shelves where you can keep your portable toolboxes, boxed power tools, hardware items, or cans of paints, oils, or other chemicals. These are made of steel so they are strong enough to take on heavy loads. Measuring 17 inches deep and 38 inches wide, they can accommodate plenty of your equipment and materials.
At the rear of the worktop is another pegboard for hanging the hand tools you most frequently use, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, or pliers. It is framed with steel and topped with a steel shelf for storing small items. To keep stored items from falling off, it is surrounded by rails.
All steel components of the Stack-On 318544 Steel Workbench with Pegboard Back Wall, except the drawer, are finished in epoxy paint colored gloss black, thus guaranteeing superior resistance to rust or corrosion.
Overall dimensions are 40″ W x 20″ D x 58″ H. The worktop is at 36 inches high.
