Standing on strong and sturdy steel legs, the Torin Heavy-Duty Workbench TSA5911H can take on heavy loads and absorb a lot of abuse. They support a thick hardwood work surface which can also take punishment. To protect the surface from unwanted and unnecessary scratches, a rubber mat that covers half of it is supplied. Surrounding its edges is an aluminum diamond or tread plate trim. This also protects the edge from accidental cutting and chipping.
The rear of the work area features a pegboard that is made of steel where you can install hooks and pegs for hanging your tools, hardware, and other small equipment. At the top of the pegboard is a hood, also with an aluminum tread plate trim, on which a light can be installed.
Below the work surface are two drawers that have tread plate fronts with steel sides and bottom. These are equipped with locks to secure stored items. Further below is a full-width shelf that is robust enough to hold your bulkier and heavier stuff. It is covered with an aluminum tread plate matching the trims on the hood and work surface as well as the drawer fronts.
All steel parts are powder coated in black which agreeably contrasts with the silvery white aluminum tread plates. In addition to making the Torin Heavy-Duty Workbench TSA5911H look handsome, the coat also protects it from corrosion.
The worktop has measurements of 59 inches width and 25 inches depth providing you with approximately 10 square feet of working area. Including the pegboard and hood, it has a height of 63 inches.
