Crafted out of industrial-grade and quality heavy-duty steel, the frame and parts of the Tuffrax Overhead Storage are strong, sturdy, and can support heavy loads. To protect it from rust or corrosion, the steel is powder coated with a white hammertone glossy coat. The combination of these two features assures the lifetime use of the overhead rack.
The racks are fastened to the ceiling by a 12-point attachment system. There are center supports at the front and rear for increased stability. Given these, the racks are capable of supporting a weight load of 600 pounds without rocking, bending, shaking, or warping.
The height of the racks is adjustable from 20 to 38 inches allowing you to store bulky boxes provided you stay within the recommended weight load. The boxes or other items stored on the racks are visible from below through the steel mesh platform. With proper markings on your boxes you won’t have to rummage through all of them when looking for something. The sides of the racks are open providing easy stowing or retrieval of your stored items.
There are seven available sizes –8′ x 4′, 8′ x 3′, 6′ x 4′, 4′ x 4′, 4′ x 3′, 3′ x 3′, 2′ x 4′.
