The combination of the shiny black of the frame and the light brown shade of the work top, bottom shelf, and pegboard makes the Waterloo Economy Workbench WB4202 a nice-looking addition to any garage.
The frame is fabricated out of heavy-duty durable steel that has a load capacity of up to 1,000 pounds. It supports a 9/16-inch thick fiberboard work top measuring 42 inches wide and 21.5 inches deep. This is approximately 6 square feet, an area large enough for most home projects.
At the rear of the workbench is a pegboard held by the steel frame. You can use the holes in the board to hold hooks on which you can hang small and light tools. Wrenches, pliers, wood and hacksaws, hammers, or manual drills can be suspended on the pegboard.
The top of the pegboard terminates in an overhead shelf which is also supported by the steel frame. Here, you can also store more lightweight tools or hardware materials.
Below the work top are two drawers with measurements of 18 inches width and depth, and 3.625 inches high. If you have plans and sketches of your projects, or things you want to keep from dust, you can keep them in here. Both drawers are fitted with ball bearing slides making it easy to pull them out even if they are loaded to their maximum capacity of 35 pounds.
Your bigger tools can rest on the bottom shelf. It is of the same size as the worktop providing you with ample space for your heavier and bulkier items such as power tools, cans of paint or oil, or waxes and other cleaning materials.
