Do-it-yourselfers and home mechanics whose collection of tools and equipment are only those intended for their personal use can meet their storage needs with the Waterloo Industries TRAXX TR Series 51804B Tool Chest.
This Waterloo tool chest is relatively small with measurements of 26 3/32 inches wide, 17 ¾ inches deep, and 13 5/16 inches high. It can be stored inside full-sized cabinets or any space in your workshop and taken to your work areas when needed.
Made of steel that is reinforced with sidewall posts, the chest is a sturdy and rigid. The steel is protected from rust and corrosion with its painting. This can either be in wrinkled brown or plain red.
There are four drawers in the tool chest, all having the same width of approximately 22 inches, and depth of 16 inches. The upper three are 2 inches high, while the fourth at the bottom is a shade over 3 inches. Your small hand tools can easily fit into any of the top three drawers. Screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, hammers, cutting tools, and measuring gears can be kept in them. Thicker and bulkier tools such as big pipe wrenches, mallets, or a small hydraulic jack for your car can stay in the bottom drawer.
All drawers run on ball-bearing slides for an easy opening and closing. The have non-slip surfaces to keep your tools in place. Dividers are also installed for a more organized and systematic storage. Their total capacity is almost 5,000 cu. in.
Your tools are kept secure by a keyed locking system. Turning a single keyhole locks all drawers.
