Featuring a tri-channel construction the Waterloo PMX4009 Chest Cabinet is a strong and durable storage tool that can handle heavy loads. It has nine drawers of different sizes that can hold a variety of tools and equipment, ranging from small hand tools like spanners, socket wrenches, vise grips, or screwdrivers, to power tools like nailers, saws, planers, or grinders.
The drawers are arranged in two columns. The column to its left has three stacked over one another. The top drawer has a height of 5.24″ and width of 11.75″, while the other two are 4.16″ high and 11.75″ wide. Here is where you can stow your power tools. The column on its right has six drawers. The top row has three drawers measuring 2″ high and 6.71″. Small tools and hardware such as nuts, bolts, screws, and nails can be kept in these small drawers. Below the three is a 3.08″ tall and 22.37″ wide drawer. The remaining two are of the same size at 4.16″ high and 22.37″ wide. All drawers are 14.68″ deep.
Each drawer is fitted with full-extension ball bearing slides which make them easy to open or shut even when fully loaded to its maximum load capacity of 50 pounds. It also allows full access to the inner sections of the drawer.
In addition to the drawers, a shallow tray with dividers under the lid of the chest also provides additional storage space. Your most frequently used tools can be kept here, or perhaps notes on your latest project.
For ease of carrying the tool chest, over-molded chrome-plated handles that are easy to grip are installed on both sides. And to keep your tools secure, it is equipped with a keyed locking mechanism and internal lock bars.
Overall, the Waterloo PMX4009 measures 16″ D x 40.5″ W x 19.8″ H. It weighs 168 pounds. It is available in black, blue, or red.
